A wonderful walk across the North East portion of the moor, on a fantastic day! Lovely afternoon sunshine in the upper Fowey.

This was our fifth and final OC today, we did a great circuit that took us out to Elelphant Rock, Codda, Catshole, Fowey Moor, Brown Willy, Fowey Head, Buttern Hill, and down to this super location.. one more hill to climb for an ammo can then back to the car. Cache in super condition- many thanks for setting these -and maintaining in brilliant condition.  Spotted a nice millstone nearby.. TFTC

Found on a blistering day out on the moors. Very hot indeed. Found the bog but manaaged to navigate across it and found the stream in the bog but managed to time our jumps to avoid getting a boot full literally lol. Wish there were more of these types of caches as well. Thank you very much for yet another exciting and different experience. TFTC

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Far more concerned with crossing the various streams on my return to the car at Westmoorgate having visited Codda Tor and High Moor Geocaches, and with it getting late and low battery power,..this cache slipped throuh the net.Yell (Been using that icon a lot today). Oh well, another trip out to this lovely area, apart from the boggy bits, many of which I encountered today.

I found this cache very quickly with spot on coordinates after walkiing from Half Way There.  The walk to the cache encountered a hop over a fence & nearly a sticky moment with barbed wire; the walk back towards Showery Tor was a case of finding the best spot to try & leap over the river - I didnt find it & ended up knee deep, under estimating the depth of the bog under-foot!  This was all fun & games & thoroughly enjoyed on a very warm & dry spring afternoon.  The 6 miles hike today was excellent & I'm glad I brought my GPSr & decided to obtain a few caches along the way!  TFTC. I came to this one from Brown Willy so had an interesting time getting across the stream and wide boggy bit to the cache. The last time I was at this settlement it was pouring with rain and thick fog so it was nice to see it and the views today in glorious sunshine.

Again, the cache was not a difficult find but well enough hidden from casual walkers by. From here I went up to revisit the GC cache "The Molinnis Crew's Settlement" which I last visited over 5 years ago, it's good to see the old ones are still going strong.
