We were in Bath this weekend, and we can't pass up an old Virtual, so this one was in our 'to find' list. Dogs aren't allowed in the gardens, even during the free period if the year, so Mrs Paws flew solo on this one while Mr Paws waited with the dogs up top. It is lovely here. It would be grand to see it in the summer. Thanks for setting this Virtual so we could enjoy it today!

Out today with wifey and the girls to do some shopping, decided to grab lunch and thought this would be a great place to sit and eat it. A lovely place with great views.

Thanx for setting and bringing us to this lovely location.

Visiting Bath today to meet up with old friends and family, and to watch my nephew sing Evensong in the Abbey. While I've visited the city many times before, I don't think I've been in the Parade Gardens previously. It made a great spot to meet the kids for a picnic, with the added fun of a convenient geocache! T4tC, JRI.  Bristol, UK ????????

I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to discover this virtual.  I've passed by many times but either it hasn't sprung to mind or it's too late or I'm too tight to pay to get in.  Today, after a game of 10 pin bowling nearby, it was free winter entry.  Actually, I can't remember ever coming into the gardens so thanks for prompting the brief trip.  I only know the history of Blaudud due to another cache and I learned something about this Edward too.  I also picked up some info for the new multi published today.

Thanks: I always like to do an opencache and should have done this one a long time ago but better late than never.

I hope my photo of my thumb rather than me standing is ok.

Happy New Year.

With Quenrelia we spent the weekend in Bath in order to visit this nice city and to do some caches as well. Probably due to the Christmas market, the city center was packer, so we were happy to escaped a bit of the crowd.

Very interesting cache and status in a pretty park.

Our granddaughter had come up to visit us for a  few days and wanted to have a look around Bath.

We stopped in the Parade Gardens for a picnic lunch, so we just had to do this cache.

We enjoyed strolling around the gardens  admiring the lovely flower beds as we looked for the two statues.

A nice easy cache to do, and a pleasure to be able to do one that doesn't mean waiting ages for muggles to go away before retrieving a container. Mrs S took a photo of me with my phone, so apologies for the low quality - no, not her photographic skills at fault, it's the measly little 'lens' on the camera. OK, I should have brought a proper camera! T4TC, Spacebat

We were having a look around Bath as James is a prospective student at the University of Bath and, though I wasn't allowed much time for caching, we visited the gardens which were very busy on this sunny Saturday.

I was somewhat confused as the coords took me to one place but the photo needs to be taken elsewhere. The required form of the password wasn't at all obvious to me but if this log appears then I chose the right one.

Thanks for the cache.

Had to 'break in' as the park was closed - due to icy steps I expect.  I took a phot but for some odd reason I can't get it to download from my phone.  I'll try again from a different PC when back at work in the New Year

I walk past these gardens every day, so I thought I'd better discover this virtual. I must admit that it has taken me a few goes though! At various times, I've forgotten my GPSr (for the photo) or my camera phone; then there have been a couple of times recently when the gardens have been shut! But finally, all the elements came together today. Note that I had nothing to do with placing the 3D-Specs on poor old King Bladud! Thanks for the virtual!
