I was out with NSCR on our bikes when he suggested that we look for this cache. I dont think that walking up here in motorbike leathers was such a good idea. It took us quite a while to find it under all that vegetation, but we were sure it would be there and our persistance paid off.

Came up to this one after finding #2, I guess I knew where #2 was going to be but wasn't quite prepared for the stank required, so by the time I reached the bottom of the coast path steps I was already feeling tired - I suppose having asthma and a little bit of a cold/chest infection isn't a good enough defence? I promise to get fitter in 2014 Wink really I do! Anyway, after a few pauses to gulp in more oxygen I managed to reach the top - sad to see more erosion here, and my legs screamed at the rather interesting set of steps that added to the climb! Once at the top of the field it was a nice gentle stroll to GZ, and at first I thought it wasn't there, that'll show me for sitting on the fence! Relocated and a quick find. Cracking spot, the weather is mostly dry but very windy, it's looking dramatic out there. Great spot. Another cracking cache in a lovely spot. We came up to be nosey after the cliff fall to see how the SWCP had been damaged. Pleased to say that the cache is all safe and well (just) until the next major fall! Again, traded a pathtag, but no other swaps. Loved the camo on the container. Many thanks for the cache.

In Par today for St John's First Aid requalification. Such a lovely evening after the course I just HAD to tick off a few caches.

Great views of the village on the walk up here and a GC cache to find on the way as well. There are three more entries in the log after the last online one, it was by some walkers who went to the site to answer a call of nature it seems. They didn't phrase it quite like that but at least they signed the log and replaced it as they found it.Laughing

Lovely views and watched the sun setting from here. Our 1st opencache that we have found. Nice quick find once we found the right level.

Many thanks

Decided to do this one in the evening as parking is now free after 6pm. A quick find on a rare sunny summer's evening. TFTC, a good hide!

After the Polkerris #2 TerraCache we walked on up here - it's a lot of climbing for Mrs. Amberel :-)
Spent some time searching at the wrong level, before reading the hint, after which it was a quick find.
Thanks for yet another great Gribben cache.
Rgds, Andy

Passing the end of the lane to Polkerris I decided to go and claim this one as an opencache having previously found it as a navicache.

Had an interesting walk to the cache area, encountering a sheep in the coast path which needed gently encouraging back to the field to join his mates. Picked up the cache, signed log and traded keyring for Geocachig badge.

On the way back along the coast path I met a ginger cat sitting amongst the bushes by the path. Popular stretch of path for animals!

Thanks for the cache.

What a lovely place! ... took a few photos on my way through the hamlet and along the path to the cache. A typically good hide by Gribben. Spectacular views. Superb!

TFTC,
Paul
Today was not the best day to go for a cache with strong winds and driving rain, but I wanted to go for this cache as it had remained untouched since November 2007.

The cache was found fairly easily at the cache site and I claimed the FTF prize. The setting combined with the weather provided spectacular views back towards the daymark with rolling waves into Polkerris. TFTC
