A nice easy cache on the banks of the Hart Tor brook. There was not much water flowing today so I could easily step across at a narrow point nearby. This cache seems to have been found a few times by non-cachers who left some slightly unsavoury material inside; this has now been removed.

This was a easy find whilst walking down the entire length of Hart Tor Brook on a lovely breezy warm sunny afternoon, the out of the way position making it very un-stealth in hiding!!! Out exploring the Mewy Valley and Cramber/Chants Hill area!

My apologies for another rather late log, but I am almost up to date now! I had already maintained a couple of my GC caches on the other side of the main road before managing to find a relatively dry route across to Hart Tor to check on my opencache there. I decided to carry on for a couple more opencaches and this was the first. A fairly easy find here, tftc.

Found after a brief search on a late afternoon walk in the mist and drizzle.
Surprised to see I'm the first cacher logging a find here since 2016, but some letterboxers signed the log in February 2018.
Apologies for the very late log - making a determined effort to rectify our lax logging on Opencaches.

Found on a lovely spring day. Same day as the Ten Tors start and was buzzed by an Army Lynx, saw their bigger chopper go over the hill, and (unrelated) a Spitfire flew over towards Plymouth.
Sat and had a bite to eat here and admired the world. Cache in great condition.

Another revisit to a cache I logged before it was an Opencache. I remembered where it was so didn't need the GPSr and it was exactly where it was when I found it before. On the way here I couldn't find Lord Darcys cache so went back for another look and found it straight away so I left the area very happy.

An excellent cache to find early on this cool but gloriously sunny morning. For a while I thought access was going to be more tricky than it proved to be - I saw where I thought the cache must be, but it would have been very tricky for this old feller to have reached it. Luckily I carried on looking before tackling the retrieve, and my initial guess proved to be wrong as I found it quickly elsewhere. I've only just read the hint now I'm home again - had I done so at the time I would have known my first guess was wrong .
Thanks for another great Gribben cache.
Rgds, Andy
