I'm currently stopping at cobham Services with work. So after an early finish, it's cache time. This one is my last and most important one of the afternoon, don't get to do many opencache ones. So off to GZ, which is easier said than done, lol. I eventually got there, with plenty of bush waking involved. This place is really overgrown. Searched for quite a while in various places. Coordinates telling me I was right on top of it, they ended up being very close. Determined not to give up. New it had to be here somewhere, undisturbed for many years. Read cache listing again and more searching. Leaves and tree litter have built up over the years but persevered. Found a likely location and dug down, Happy days. Cache in Exellent condition after all this time log in good condition also. Signed and carefully replaced as found. Brilliant. Now to fight my way back out, and check out the Temple of sleep, then head back to hotel. Cold cloudy evening. Found at 16:00hrs. TFTC.

Checked the cache, still in place and in perfect condition. Tricky to get to, but it is supposed to be .

Maintenance visit. Cache still present and in good order.

The rhododendrons were there before the cache Wink. Access currently is not difficult except for the last 6 feet or so, where it is necessary to clamber between 2 branches.

Not so much a DNF, more a 'Could Not Look'! That woodland weed, the rhododendrum has overtaken the area around GZ making access very difficult. Mrs S was waiting patiently nearby, and realising the challenge I faced, I decided not to brave the undergrowth.

3TF My GPS wasn't too bad.  In fact after looking at several likely places to no avail, I resorted to looking at my GPS again and it pointed the way.

Took erasers left power ball.

TFTC :o)

Will return another day to find the mult-cache as the little ones were getting restless!

Had to use the detailed description for the hide to find the cache as my gps was really struggling. At the actual GZ it was indicating 126 feet +/- 70 feet accuracy!

When the Chatley Heath Semaphore Tower cache was published on Friday I read the deszcription and was a bit puzzled as it referred to another OpenCache on Ockhem Common. I checked and I couldn't find one listed. The mystery soon got resolved when I got notification of this onw.

Today after completing the Semaphore Tower cache I looked at the GPS and was surprised how close this one was. Soon reached the temple which I had seen when doing a circuit on the common, and then followed the GPS.

As expected GPS jumped around a bit under the trees and I began to fear a repeat of a previous Amberel cache under heavy tree cover. Then the owner had to come out and help me.

This time though there were some quite detailed instructions and I soon found the first item I was looking for. Then searched a coupld of items that seemed to match the second description, but no cache. Then onto a third and there was the cache.

Thanks for bringing me back to this lovely area.
