I signed up to opencaching some time ago , but a dearth of caches in my local area ( which I intend to do something about ) meant I've not looged a find until today Cool !

Visiting the nearby Cold War Cache with friends I was pleased to see that this puzzle is listed here as well as on that other site , and I am finally able to log my very first opencache .

The puzzle element was familiar , the terrain was nettlicious and took careful negotiation , and the GPS was having a fit of the vapours , but after a bit of faffing back and forth the cache was found out in the open . Once signed it was returned to the obvious place 45cm behind where it was picked up from .

Thanks for the cache !

Solved the puzzle some time ago, thought it was more complicated that it was! Parked at the suggested parking and took a short walk to GZ, taking in some of the flora along the way.

A nice looking goozgog bush was noted Wink on route. Fantastic view from GZ of Clipston, Woodgate and Nottingham. Cache found quickly enough in the place I would have hidden it. Many thanks to you Gorge for bringing us here.

Having solved the puzzle a long time ago, and being in the area for Cold War Cache we stopped in here on the way home. The cache was found fairly quickly after finding a way to Ground Zero without getting brambled, barb-wired or muddied. (Rated 4 stars with GCVote)

Parked up at the suggested and headed into the dark woods.

Great night time views from GZ but sadly no cache to be found, I'm guessing this is best done in daylight but might check my numbers with the CO all the same.

Copied from The Other Place

Having worked out the puzzle and coords long ago, we diverted slightly on the way to Cotgrave Country Park when I recognised the name of the lane from research.

We got out the OS map and followed the footpath around the wood. unfortunately the wire fence prevented us getting close.

We retraced our steps to the car parked in the designated area, followed the arrow and, apart from some minor diversions for chin high nettles, we got to GZ, the buzzing getting louder as we approached.

Joshua made a quick dash and grab for the container, the log was signed, and hastily put back roughly in place (sorry bees)
