I am the first to log this opencaching listing for almost 5 years. Seeing this cache sent me  down a rabbit hole on the 'other site' looking at the caches that used to be nearby. A few were but most weren't.

There is a very new looking fence between the path and GZ but at less than a metre high I could step over this, push my way through the long grass and head to an obvious host that has seen better days yet continues on regardless.

A team of 3 of us were on foot today from Par train station to Golant to finish off the remainder of the Halo. The team was myself, Smithy138 and Monkeywrenchsamurai. Logbooks were signed as DSM, MSD or SDM, in fact every combination possible.

We headed straight to GZ and it was a nice easy find. Pleasantly surprised with the contents and the coin waiting to be discovered.

 

I am the only one of the three of us using Open caching.

Found while walking the eastern leg of the Halo Series with Redruth Roamers.<br /> A lovely big container &amp; a great hide, though we struggled a bit to get it out of the hole!<br /> Thanks also for the Munzee &amp; geocoin.

Out for the day caching with Will of the Wisp and Nixo42 with the aim of finishing the rest of the Halo series today. Managed this as a mix of walking on foot and cache and dashes - the latter I have to say was welcome as it was chucking it down at one point on our walking route and we got soaked. What an excellent cache this is. Discovered the very nice geo-coin. A recomendation from me, TFTC.
