Great to log this as an opencache too. A fantastic spot. The cache is well hidden unden leaf foliage. Cheers for the opencache

Parked the campervan in Goodrich Castle and made my way here for the first cache of the day. My goodness, that was a steep start 
. A muddy ascent, which I had to complete without my walking pole, having accidentally left it near a TerraCache in the Cotswolds yesterday.
My GPSr led me to an area with no obvious hiding place, and after some casting around I resorted to the hint. I was so far from where eventually I found the cache that I couldn't even see the hint object! The steep slope and heavy tree cover do make it very hard for a GPSr.
Some more somewhat aimless wandering about did reveal something that fitted the hint, and the cache was then soon found. An good, old fashioned location for a cache, and that is intended as a high compliment.
