I'd been away in Snowdonia and on the Lleyn Peninsula for a couple of days, mostly TerraCaching in remote locations, and saw a series of new OpenCaches arrive on my phone. Being away, I didn't take too much notice, but I did see they were about 60 miles NW of home.
Today I was driving home in the campervan. I stopped in Chirk for a few Church Micros, and had my lunch. While eating, I remembered these caches. 60 miles NW of home might be near my route 
.
So I fired up Safari and took a look. Using a phone to look at the cache pages is quite hard work, but I could see they were at Milton Keynes, and I could see that they were all virtual caches of one sort or another. I was somewhat disappointed by that - my preference for a cache I can actually hold in my hands is well known . But I was keen to have another break in the journey, and Milton Keynes was right on one of the possible routes home . My mind was made up. I jotted down the list of co-ordinates .
When I reached the OU I was quite surprised that security let my campervan onto the campus without even asking what I was there for . Parked in the visitor parking area, which was deserted except for myself, and which proved to be ideal for the cache locations.
Quickly found this one first. Very attractive, though I'm sure it would look a lot better if you worked several floors up in the offices . Having found the location I wasn't quite sure what I was supposed to do here in order to claim the find, so I took a photo and moved on to the next. It may be worth reading our guidelines on virtual caches, which say:

Virtual caches are permitted on opencaching.org.uk, but should be employed sparingly. They should be used only where there is a special reason for placing a cache but where a physical cache is undesirable.
If possible the element of searching should be retained - some information that cannot be obtained using the internet, and preferably requires at least some effort to locate, should be used in conjuction with the log password feature.

It's very easy just to visit the co-ordinates. Without actually having to search for anything there can be no satisfaction in finding it, if you see what I mean.
Anyway, one down and on to the next .
