Found the first stage OK, but had some doubt about the numbers - no problem with finding the length of the more challenging walk, but the text didn't mention a long walk, and the only other distance mentioned really wasn't that long.

Nevertheless, as it was the only other number we had, we tried it into the equations and it plotted to a quite likely looking spot - which looked even more likely when we got close.

Unfortunately there was a bees nest right at GZ, so we had to abandon this one for today, shame as we were so close.

We found this while out with the EAGeoMobbers at the Gallant Soldiers and Poppies event.  We took a short detour from our walk around Ruse on the Ouse TC to find this and the Needingworth lakes OC.  The information was found easily.  Once we knew we were looking for a long walk and not the longest the maths worked out fine.  (Some people never read the cache pages properly:))

It was a nicely hidden cache, thank you.

This one is just beside my Needingworth Lakes cache.  It would be rude not to do it.  Did this with the EA Geomobbers while at the Gallant Soldiers and Poppies Event.  A good day with a hat full of caches.

Second OC cache of the day for me whilst attending the nearby event, and a nice clean logbook too Smile A great final location for the hide. I popped in a couple of Geolympix Puztox, or whatever they are called now for for others if anyone is collecting those.
