FTF When I knew we were coming to mid/north Wales for a few days away I immediately checked to see what opencaches were available and was amazed to see that there were two which still hadn't been found in nearly 2 years. These therefore became the main focus of my attention and I noticed that they had been cunningly placed within a mixed series of GS caches. So the route was planned to take in a total of 25 caches placed by at least 3 different COs. What a superb route this turned out to be, but the highlight was very much the FTFs on the opencaches.I tried to approach this cache direct from the previous GS cache but wanted to avoid the obviously boggy ground which I would need to descend in to. So a slight detour to keep to the higher and drier ground and a bit of contouring to ensure I didn't waste height. A fairly easy find, although not where I expected, of a superb cache in pristine condition and unbelievably well presented - an Amberel Top Cache if ever I saw one ! Great views from here in all directions on a fabulous day. I cannot possibly rate this cache high enough, so many, many thanks Andy and my apologies for a somewhat late log ! Also took the OC FTF badge, so thanks for that as well.
