My current walking project is the Lea Valley Walk in east London but because of the partial closure of Waterloo I looked for a walk which I could travel to by car. The area around Theale and Sulham looked ideal and it also has many Opencaches. I parked in Theale and enjoyed a 10km figure of eight walk north from Theale, across the M4, to Sulham Wood, and back.

I recall exploring this path previously when caching as it's unusual in being a ROW not shown on most maps. I worked out the location of the cache before leaving home and it was a nice easy find.

Thanks for the cache.

Spent a few moments working out the numbers, then a zig-zag walk along the footpath brought me to the cache - which I spotted straight away as it was in the open and all the bits were scattered about, the pot in one place, the lid in another and the camo bag somewhere else!

Amazingly all the bits were still there and quite clean, though wet inside and out. So I gathered everything together and dried it all off. The log was well past it, so I used my printout of the cache page as an alternative log, and signed the back of it. As good as new now Smile.

Put it back where the hint said and covered it over as best I could.

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

Found this one in March and only spotted it now on opencaching.uk. So a belated found log.

Looks like it is gets visited quite a bit resently due to the new SNB caches over the bridge . TFTC
