Today, the weather forecast wa good. I was at home and there was a FTF to be found on Dartmoor. There was only one thing for it.

Once again I parked up at Bagga Tor, a car park that I have used more than any other on various trips on to the Moor. In fact, I was quite surprised that there were still caches that I needed out this way, apart from the one DNF that I avenged today.

All in all a good day, a couple of 'heads of the river', 'a seat with a view' and unfortunately, a DNF.

I do like to pick up an open cache occasionally, so this was on the list. Also I need to work on some of the challenges.

The cache was quickly found and the bonus number recorded. I really need to sit down and get my bonus info sorted.

Another resuss? Getting the hang of the lingo ;)

Third  cache of the day and a lovely spot for a coffee, banana and re-apply of suncream. Came here more or less directly from Bagga Tor via the Walkham Head. Lovely spot. What I love about the Dartmoor Challenge series is that it is taking us to places we haven’t visited before - nor probably would have just by looking at the map.

Called in here after spending far too much time on Fur Tor looking for old letterboxes, picked up some Ring Rock boxes that I missed last time and checked my cache, thanks again for this series.

Thanks, doesn't seem like June when we were last here. Unfortunately no one has mowed and rolled the terrain for us. A nice day , terrain a nightmare. 8 mile walk for 4 caches, and only 2 count. What idiots we must be, but how much longer will we be able to do this, so grab the moment.
