Wahoo another opencache. The weather has well and truly turned. Started with blue sky now I've got sleet and hale.

Thanks Dartmoor Dave for the cache

After leaving the pillow mounds I decided to head to the stream and head north if there was a decent path to follow. Indeed there was and it took me all the way to this classic hide. The bonus info was noted in case I ever get that far and everything was put back as found. TFTC

First proper walk of the autumn out on Dartmoor. We'd had the summer off from "serious walking" but had left our winter'16 / spring'17 season on a high with completion of the great SOD Too series. So today was the start of a new venture with an "assault" on the Dartmoor Challenge" series (2 completed today). Hubby went straight to the cache whilst I was still trying to find GZ (it was to be his day - he was on fire with the finds).

A quick find while out on a 13-mile walk on the south moor, taking just under nine hours.

Apologies for the extremely late log - making a determined effort to rectify our lax logging on Opencaches, using geocache logs from our aging Garmin and photographs from our archives if available.

TFTC.

I had a day off school today, so what better to do than go for a stomp o'er the moors? Nope, you can't think of anything either can you, and I couldn't think of anything better so that's what I did! 3 caches found including a FTF, and 2 opencaches also found today.

I made my way down here from the opencache just south of Snowdon, intending to get this then press on for the puzzles. I thought it would be wet and boggy underfoot but actually it wasn't so I am a happy and dry heartradio! I've never been in this 'girt' big Girt before but I've been in the nearby T-Girt so I know what a girt is like but this is a bigger girt. A quick find of the cache when I arrived at GZ, as the cache was out in the open a bit. Signed the log then replaced it back tucked in a bit better. :)

Thanks, 2nd cache of the day, not many humans hereabouts, plenty of livestock, horses and sheep's.

A quick find while walking in the area on a lovely sunning day, thanks for bringing us here.

I enjoyed the comments . In good taste, of the letter boxers who found this first egging on the fact that no geocachers had been here, In particular Ochico. Nice spot tftc and challenge.

Familiar spot but has been a while.

Just making the walk up as I go.

A quick find then off to Snowdon
