A long time since we've been up here, as steep as ever with the views a good as ever.  Cache was a nice quick find, thanks for it.

Out and about in the area today. Had intended to head over to Doe Tor and Hare Tor but flags flying so made our way up to the cross before Arms Tor and Great Links. After a short steep approach this one was soon to hand. Cache clean and tidy. TFTC

This was my last opencache of the day before heading back to High Down Ford and my car (which was the last one left in the car park)

I made heavy weather of this one looking in places I expected to house a large box. In the end my walking pole hit upon a good sized container and I had to wiggle it a bit to extract it from its home. Bonus info has been noted and one day I will do something with it.

Found on a walk of 7.5 miles from the Dartmoor Inn out to Green Tor and back on a wet and windy day.

Found after a short search, signed the log under the shelter of my coat, and replaced as found.

Apologies for the extremely late log - making a determined effort to rectify our lax logging on Opencaches, using geocache logs from our aging Garmin and photographs from our archives if available.

What a fantastic day to be out and about on the moors! Thick fog when we woke up and left home but blue sky and sunshine by the time we got here! Set off from the car park about 10:30 and Brat Tor was our first (and hopefully most difficult ) climb of the day on what promises to be a fantastic ( caching) day!

Walked all the way past up onto the top to enjoy the views before checking the position and having to climb back down again - thankfully not too far!

Made a meal of the finding. But got there after about 5 minutes.

This is our first Dartmoor Challenge Opencache - and only our second ever Opencache - but it won't be the last - oh no!

Out for a walk with NSCR. Have now reloaded all the opencaches on c.geo and will make the effort to log them.

Having just done the Black Rock Falls Earthcache I found myself on the wrong side of a river in full spate. Had I slipped on the slippery rocks it would have spoiled the rest of the day, so I took the half Km diversion round by the bridge.

The climb got steeper and steeper the closer I got to the cache , it was a hard slog up the hill and into the fierce headwind, but when I got there I found an excellent cache . The views were pretty amazing, and would have been even better on a day with better visibility.

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

TFTC Glad I had a reason to pop up here again. It was tiring getting here but the view is so amazing. My first five of the day, wonder how many more I'll get on the way back to Okehampton.Left a TB too.

Well what a climb up - sat and admired the views for a while. Should have come up the proper path - but could not pinpoint the exact spot it was. Quickly found co-rods were good. Tftc

Coming to the end of today's 37 point LB /cache walk. Perched up here I thought to myself, what a fantastic cache location! Thank you very much Dartmoor Dave,

I was not first to sign log...now off to letterbox 70m below.

Made hard work of it

Walked straight up the hill passed the cache and checked the GPS at the top .

Headed off to another one near by first then back down for a long search.
