Visited today and the cache iwas/s there as it should be and is visible from the ground.

Climbed up and pleased to report that the contents are still bone dry.

As we were here looking for a squirrel up a tree today, we thought we'd try to spot this one, a couple trees over, even though we knew we couldn't retrieve it if we did. We didn't see it, which isn't that unusual, but we did wonder whether this one is still active as it hasn't been logged since 2017.

Parked up and walked to a spot that I've been quite close to on a previous occasion.

This time the cache was easy to spot, and in place that was easy to set the line. One ping of the BigShot was enough, and in no time at all I was stamping the log. I hadn't realised that it had been found already, consequently i didn't put my mark under the first to find, but I don't suppose that will matter

The first opencache tree climb TOP CACHE .

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

Got a ping of emails through yesterday which is a first as it was from opencaching, Had a look and seen Dizzypair put three new ones out. After taking a look I soon realised that this one was going to be good just like all other DP hides. After my GPS went for a swim with the fishies earlier in the week I managed to obtain a replacement unit yesterday as we planned to head out to Southampton for some letterbox caches.

I still had my climbing gear in the car from yesterday so I said to my other half we're doing this one. Once we pulled up we headed for GZ and the amount of deer and stags was really impressive. Lucas soon spots the tub so I set about getting the line over and hit the mark first time. Once set up and climbing the snapped off branch that got caught up was a bit in the way and did have a go at nudging it to the ground as it would do someone a bad injury below it. It was too heavy to kick out so up I went. Once near the top I decided to make it a lot easier and came off the rope and hopped up a couple of branches and soon reached the tub. Not surprisingly the log was clean and nicely presented so no faffing rolling and trying to stuff the log back.

All in all a nice peaceful climb (after I told Lucas to shut up and let me get on with it;))

Thank for the cache.
