Out and about in the area today fighting the wind at every twist and turn. Came over from Doe Tor to here but our journey was fruitless . Despite and long and detailed search- no joy for us here. A good excuse to return to this super location soon TFTC

Found as part of a day on which the drizzle never stopped, the mist never lifted and on which I found more opencaches in a day than I have done before.
This was a tricky cache made even more difficult due to everything being so wet. I stuck my walking pole in a lot of holes and heard nothing so resorted to stepping back and contemplating where I would hide a cache. All is well here, thanks for hiding this one

After finding the Green Tor Contours cache I walked over to take a look at the tor. It's more grey than green I'd say but nevertheless a wonderful place with some beautiful views especially towards Fur Tor and down the valley. Soon found the container using the spoiler photo for assistance as I want to get my walk done before the forecast rain moves in, not that it ever did in the end!! Never trust the Met Office. Thanks for bringing me out here today, lovely tor!

Called in to mark my first OC milestone--100 caches. Started off at F&Hs making my way out to Kneeset on Ten Tors Day.. this was one of my main targets for the day. Thankyou to all COs who have planted these caches-particularly Dartmoor David, I really enjoy Opencaching most of which are usually of a better standard and interest to the norm-except for mine.. Many thanks Andy for this one.

Found on a walk of 7.5 miles from the Dartmoor Inn out to Green Tor and back on a wet and windy day.
Found after a short search, signed the log under the shelter of my coat, and replaced as found.
Apologies for the extremely late log - making a determined effort to rectify our lax logging on Opencaches, using geocache logs from our aging Garmin and photographs from our archives if available.
TFTC.

Out for a walk with NSCR. Have now reloaded all the opencaches on c.geo and will make the effort to log them.

Left car in the mist but by the time I arrived here the sun was out and there were two people camping the other side of the tor - waiting for the mist to clear so they could see the way back to their car! Thanks for the cache,

This was my third and last opencache of the day on a 9 mile walk from Nodden Gate. The day had started off with sunshine but this soon gave way to mist and eventually drizzle as the day progressed. I managed to reach this cache before the drizzle started but I was already very damp and cold. I placed my GPS on a rock when it said 0m and found the cache in about the second place I looked without needing the spoiler. Thanks Andy for placing this cache for me, but I didn't quite get there as ftf, but second. I would recommend it, but don't have any left, but it gets the highest rating, tftc !

Thanks. Dartmoor Dave hasn't been here yet, and we had almost forgotten about it, luckily it was on Derek's GPS.
