This cache is located in a super location, having some special features all with the feel of being a “forgotten place” I was really pleased to have another go today after failing in 2018. All I needed was DD to double check my scribblings from the very good series/ feeders. I walked right past GZ in 2018 and ended up nearby in an even less visited place. The terrain is incredibly tough- jungle like. Thanks for placing this cache and series, all those years ago !

This cache brought me to an interesting location across a secret bridge I had never visited before- the terrain was very tough and difficult to search.. need to check my records!!

Dartmoor Dave has set many great series - but this really has to be the best yet. The final was a good cache in a quirky location, but the series was made by the many caches in some of the most picturesque parts of the moor.

Not only does this earn a recommendation, it also earns a TOP CACHE geocoin (visit link for details). The highest scoring TOP CACHE in Devon, and the joint highest in the West Country.

Thanks for a truly outstanding series,

Rgds, Andy

FTF :)

Found in the company of The Caching Corgis and Evil Beagles.  Had made the decision yesterday that as the weather was looking favourable - a rarity for a Dartmoor Dave New Year's Event [:)] - that we would have a go at doing the new series of caches when they were released.  Mrs W had been working the previous evening and also first thing this morning and the weather was still looking good - until we set out to leave then the rain started - never mind - should clear up soon - although maybe we'll just swing past home and pick up some waterproofs and wellies in case.....

After completing the other caches in the series - and luckily picking them in the right order we had all the co-ordinates that we needed.  Opted to drive closer to the final than we were and Mr W once more set off with his trusty companion.

A pleasant little stroll to GZ and nice dry feet after having taken off the water laden welly.  Amazed to open the cache to find that we were FTF - where was Darmoot Strider this year?

Many thanks for a great little series of caches and we took the coin as a souvenir.
