Having searched around at GZ with no luck widened our search and then Ian spotted it. Tftc. Will have to come in the other way another day. 

Found out in the open on path, guessed where it should have been so put it back inside. Great spot, great series, I may get around to finishing it one day, don't think I have finished the 2015 challenge yet.. many thanks to Dartmoor Dave.

No escaping it, had to cross the stones here, couple of tricky ones and then I was across .

This was very straightforward - for a Dartmoor Dave cache that is .

Thanks, me on my own down here, in a rush as left D by stepping stones to wait,  Nice quick find been here before for a cache, but from a different direction.  It would seem that not many are bothering with these, despite the fact they are near the Geocaches.

New years day and another Dartmoor Dave NYD challenge! Unfortunately Ingrid was not well and unable to be here leaving myself and Jaynie15 to brave the weather which seems to blight these NYD events/challenges, we managed to avoid much of the worst muddier areas on our way to the stepping stones and after negotiating them (which judging by the debris on the bank may not have been possible in the not too distant past) it was a short walk to a quick find, log signed and bonus information noted and onto the next. 

Out caching with one half of Ping68 and we hesitantly walked off to find this one,

arguably I was the one being hesitant as my boots had nearly given up, 

and the cows were......present nearby!!!

After a fairly lengthy walk (on my part) we find the cache

waiting to be found. log signed, bonus info gathered & that's us for the day after 1more GC.

First day of the New Year (Happy New Year to log readers at home and all that!) and it now seems to be tradition that I come out on to the moor, get soaking wet and then have a cream tea.[:P] This year my caching buddies and I decided to tackle the New Years Day Challenge, this year concerning rivers.[:)] In total we found 8 of 10 caches (5 geocaches and 3 opencaches), and 4 of those were FTFs.[:d]

My third OC - I'm on a roll now! 3 in a day! Anyway, it was a quick walk over from the nearby geocache to this one, however it was fairly boggy and AO managed to get her feet wet.[:(] It was also her turn to find this one, which took a few minutes for her to do. She did a quick glance around some different possible locations, then investigated one further and came up trumps. On the way back to the car we met Mr Wheelybarrow and a beagle, who also have two left to go![:)]

 Another FTF this morning on this challenge. Very wet but most enjoyable. Found the cache quickly and signed the new pristine logbook. Took the FTF coin prize...Thanks Dave. Great challenge series.

Found in the company of The Caching Corgis and Evil Beagles.  Had made the decision yesterday that as the weather was looking favourable - a rarity for a Dartmoor Dave New Year's Event [:)] - that we would have a go at doing the new series of caches when they were released.  Mrs W had been working the previous evening and also first thing this morning and the weather was still looking good - until we set out to leave then the rain started - never mind - should clear up soon - although maybe we'll just swing past home and pick up some waterproofs and wellies in case.....

Mrs W had dropped us off for this one and we were going to walk along the river picking up caches along the way before meeting her at Dunnabridge.  On approach to this one we met up with BarogslayersMum, AngelaObscura and Heartradio - they had already signed and were on their way bcak to their cachemobiles though.  A quick find once at GZ and luckily Evil Beagle didn't notice the cows.....
