Spent far too long on this one.. felt like I was gardening rather than caching..aerating the soil.. had hint but couldnt get a sure match from it.. guess its well deep in the peat or popped out and now at Dartmouth..(unlikely). look forward to another go one day..

My second attempt at this and my second failure.

Perhaps it will be third time lucky, and I must remember to look at the spoiler photo next time!

A long search here but failed to find the cache. I was aware there was a spoiler photo, but the sun was so intense it was next to impossible to see anything on the screen. Looking at it now, I think I was probably looking in the rightish area, but obviously not completely right :-)

Rgds, Andy

A long-winded failure.

Hadn't looked at the cache page in advance so was blissfully unaware that there is a spoiler picture.

There was still some deep snow in the deep cut which I managed to shift but the cache remained elusive despite a lengthy search.

Disappointed that I couldn't find a Regular sized cache, and unlikely to return to this remote location any time soon.

A day out on my own, as Derek had his monthly hospital appointment.  Misty (low cloud) all the way up from Postbridge.  Followed the river, and crossed via a little island above Kit Steps. Still snow lying around, and the cache gully was full of snow, but cache soon in hands. 12 miles walked, only the River, wind and aeroplanes to be heard. Living things, sheep, no idiots like me around. Thanks for the "toy".
