I used to live in Leybourne before moving to Land's End in Cornwall and so thought I'd take a wander and see what's changed!  I came across this scary cache on one of my old dog walking routes.

Another clean, if slightly weird cache . Hiked up the hill and used the hint to find the cache.

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

So there's a thing ... we (Tim and Viv) had heard this story about a doll that appeared to be haunted and whoever possessed it could be in for troubled times - we don't believe in all that mumbo jumbo so we decided we would come over to where the decapitated head of said doll was last seen and see what all the fuss was about....
As we approached the parking area we noticed two cars parked up unattended -
"h'm we are not alone" I thought
"have others come over this way to see what is with this doll ??" - only one way to find out.
We got out of the car and started to make our way over to where the doll's head was last seen. We had a GPSr with us, this was because although there was a hint regarding the whereabouts of the head we had also been provided with a more accurate location in the form of co-ordinates. With these we got ever closer to what they call 'ground zero' and soon the object of the hint was spotted in front of us - a bit of a scramble followed getting in behind the tree and a tupperware container was seen hidden.
We tentatively opened the large clear tupperware container, we could see from the outside the contents including the cloudy aspect of a head. Tupperware opened and there it was 'The Head' - around it was many other trinkets - the tupperware was full of bits and pieces
"possibly part of the ritual in leaving it in this resting place" we thought.
However, there was a sheet of paper coiled up in amongst the various items with the words 'sign here' written on - we duly did this. We noted the sheet didn't have any other signatures on it so were we the first to come and seek this mystery. It looked like it
Having signed the paper we put everything back and hid the tupperware as we had found it and ventured back to the car. After about 100 yards I heard
"I forgot the pen, I think I must have left it in the tupperware" Viv said to me
so we turned round and went back to 'GZ' and began to open the container
"aargh" Viv yelled
"its gone",
"The pen" I queried,
"No, The Head" Viv replied "It isn't here"
We found the pen but the head had completely disappeared - nowhere to be found, what do we do?? - we put everything back and hurriedly made our way back to the car.
As we approached, we both looked at each other in horror, there it was - The Head was sitting on our dashboard. We looked at each other wondering if there was truth behind this story now and decided we didn't want any part of it, so grabbed the head and rushed back to where the tupperware was.
We put the head back in and left for the car - to our astonishment and frustration we saw The Head on the dashboard again.
"Aargghhh! what are we going to do, how do we get rid of this ?"
"Tie it up in a bag this time" Viv suggested.
So we found a camouflage stlye bag and with The Head went back to the tupperware container. We put The Dolls Head back into the tupperware and then placed this inside the camo bag and tied it up tight - hopefully that'll do the trick - we hid it as before and rushed back to the car - success! there was no Head on our dashboard - we had managed to break the curse, Phew!
So our adventure had come to an end ...

But as we drove off we did wonder

Whatever did happen to those people from the other two cars ........
