On a tour of Sussex and Kent on my motor-bike, and I called in here for this virtual.

For this one I'll choose the second option, and the part of the memorial I have selected is the quotation on the side of the column. I'm a firm believer that the country, and indeed much of the rest of Europe, was most fortunate to have the right man, in the right place, at the right time - someone who believed when most despaired, and who had the power of oratory to convey that belief and empower others.
