Rounded off my visit to Kent with 3 more of this series.

An impressive but somehow impersonal memorial, with no names, just very big numbers . I guess the individuals are remembered on more intimate memorials in their own home towns.

I was also a little bit uneasy with the term "glorious dead", though I don't know what I would replace it with.

I took a photo with my GPS on the memorial as this gives a feel for the scale of it.

This is going to be my first Opencache find!

In the area for an event for the mainstream Geocaching site and we needed some cash, so we popped in to Maidstone.
Business done we had a little wander and found the gardens, I opened up my phone and spotted this!
We found the Cenotaph and a picture was duly taken. Despite a good look round we couldn't find any names.
Anyway, a visit is a visit and as I said my first Opencache find!
