Took a long leap from Berkshire to Devon for leap day geocaching activities with Heffalump007 and Metal-Bijou. February 29th 2012 was a glorious day on Dartmoor in excellent company with a bundle of great caches, rounded off with loads of laughs and a trio of geocaching events. A top day from start to finish. After the excitement of the day, even the very extended drive home through pea-soup fog couldn't dampen my spirits.
I'll have to come to Devon more frequently and especially to find spannerman caches! This was an excellent cache and pushed Metal-Bijou into logging it, having started the day as a Groundspeak-only cacher, he completed it as an OpenCacher and a Munzeer! MB couldn't resist being the one to dive into GZ, having chosen the more accessible end, whereas I had chosen the wetter and less accessible end. After a bit of back-tracking he soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for a great cache. Sandvika #1729
