Found on a motor-cycle caching trip around Wiltshire and Somerset. In mid June we might have hoped for some reasonably warm weather, but not today - I had to keep my motor-cycle jacket on all the time.
I did this cache in combination with 3 local Groundspeak caches, and I enjoyed the variation in terrain between the old woodland and the more open ground to the south. This one was in pretty dense woodland, with no sign that I could see of where the old Roman road ran.
The cache was well hidden, but it didn't take too long to find. The grass was long and sodden wet, which meant my trousers became saturated from the knee down. But they soon dried out once I got back on the bike and started moving again, and it was a small price to pay for a very enjoyable cache.
