After parking at the Fox and Hounds at Lydford I made my way here in a very strong wind and thick fog. I visited a GC cache first, a little way down the hill, so by the time I got here I had already covered three miles in pretty bad conditions.

Finding this wasn't any problem and I was surprised that there were no TB's in the cache. It turned out that Broyleboxers had visited last week and picked them upLaughing.

I would like to have taken the offer up to admire the view but all I could see was fog, fog and a bit more FOG!!! It is Dartmoor though so what should I have expected? There can't be many places you can have near gale force winds and thick fog either. It took nearly four hours of the wind before the fog began to clear away and that was just as I was climbing down off the moor.

I did enjoy the walk round though and a bonus of the fog is that even if there is anyone else nearby, you don't see themCool.

All the opencaches I visited today were good ones but I have put a green star on this one because it was the best for me today.
