Out for a first serious walk this autumn after a summer doing other things. Today saw us start at Lud Gate, up the Western Walla Brook and onto Ryder's Hill, and taking in a couple of DC caches. We've done a few before and have recently started "eyeing" up the full series in earnest, so today was the first step in this new endeavour. Wonderful day out on Dartmoor with stupendous views from GZ - excellent placement when the weather (and the forecast) proves good. All in all, a "Fantastic Day" as "Haircut 100" tunefully informed us all those years ago back in the early 1980's.
