Description EN

The cache is in Wollaton Park. A Deer park in Nottingham, dogs are welcome as are pushchairs etc. Parking is available in the main Wollaton Hall car parks and on Harrow Road. The container is a small lock and lock box.

If you are printing the Wollaton Park Series you need not print all this infomation the cache descriptions are all the same. You will still need the coordinates and the clue though.

Wollaton Hall is a spectacular Elizabethan mansion in the heart of Nottingham. It is a prominent Grade One Listed building and following its major programme of restoration, visitors of all ages are welcome to visit the hall and park.

Standing on a natural hill three miles west of Nottingham City Centre, Wollaton Hall is set in five hundred acres of spectacular gardens and parkland.

On site, in addition to the historic hall and its sumptuous grounds, visitors will find Nottingham's Natural History Museum, Nottingham's Industrial Museum (Open the last Sunday of each month for Sunday Steamings) and the Yard Gallery.

The park opens at 8am on weekdays and 9am at Weekends and Bank Holidays. The park closes just before it starts to get dark.
