Had a great day doing some Wollaton caches. We initially missed this one as geo-son Jordan had the GPS and led us towards a different cache. We'd been engrossed in the deer which had been on the path and then squeezed into the enclosure. By the time I realised, we'd gone a long way past it and had to double back. A nice walk though.

Found the gate which is no longer red, as mentioned in previous logs, but it's not hard to figure out which one is GZ. Mrs Muddy_Puddles found this one quite quickly and we soon had the log signed, waiting for muggles to pass before we could put it back where we found it.

Nice clean cache and a clever hiding place. Took nothing, left a couple of felt pens. Thanks for the cache

The second day of my East Midlands caching trip, and I left the caravan site at Cotgrave fully expecting to hit the morning rush hour on my 12 mile drive here. But my campervan sailed through with no traffic at all - even the threat of long queues due to roadworks failed to materialise, and I pulled into the car park just 15 minutes after leaving the site. Do you not have a rush hour here? Laughing.

There were some muggles by the car park cache, so I decided to leave that until the end, and headed here first. With such an open expanse through 180 degrees this could be a tricky one to do stealthily, but at this time of the morning I had the entire place to myself and it was no trouble at all.

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

On a red hot day I dragged two of the sproggs along, they weren't happy. despite that they got on with it and found the cache quite easily, returning it whence it came proved harder but eventually they succeeded.

Thanks for bringing me to this part of the park, not explored down here before.
