The substantial timber bridge is an interesting landscape feature
across the small river "The Cut" and adjacent to a flood balancing
pond. Very limited parking is available close by, just off Harvest
Ride, at N 51°25.779 W 000°45.170 however you will most probably
have it to yourself and be undisturbed during your visit. Safety
first: please be aware that children should be actively supervised
at this location - the river is shallow but may have a strong flow
at times and access to it to rescue a fallen child is not
straightforward due to undergrowth. The balancing pond may just be
boggy ground, or it may have water in it.
Please make an effort to replace the cache well so that it is not in plain sight for the next visitor. Thanks.
