Swinley Forest is an extensive woodland covering about 2,600 acres, between Bracknell in the north and Camberley in the south.
This traditional cache is a cylindrical screw top container, covered in black tape, containing a log book, pencil and some items for exchange.
Parking is available almost equidistantly to the north, south or north west. To the north is a Pay and Display car park at the Lookout Centre, N51 23.306 W000 44.392, which costs £2 for 4 hours and can get congested at peak times. To the north west there is parking in a small service road at N51 22.950 W000 46.385. To the south there is parking on a residential road at N51 21.065 W000 44.678.
Near the Lookout Centre parking there is a cafe and toilets, a children's playground, and a Go Ape circuit.
Cycling is permitted on hard tracks and a permit is no longer required. Indeed, it is a mountain bikers delight, although there is little gradient there are tracks through the forest with bumps and banked turns.
