I found an open cache, well an ammo can with nothing inside, and thought this was the cache until I read the description that I should be looking for a screwtop container.
I couldn’t see anything which matched the spoiler picture. I’ll try again another day!

I spent the day with a friend finding a few GC caches that had either been missed on a previous visit or had been placed since. However, the highlight for me was to find a few more opencaches, and this was the first. Gribben caches are always worth finding as they are presented immaculately and normally have survived the test of time and are in excellent condition. My caching partner put her hand on this one first and as expected was in great condition, many thanks for placing.

Out for a social distancing walk with a friend. I am on Open Caching, but have to admit that I dont bother with Open caching. So therefore didnt have any of the caches on my GPS, but I was quite willing to look for them. However it was nice to get a few today, in this lovely area. Not visited very often by me, but it made a change to walk somewhere different. Once my walking partner joined me, and read the hint, the cache was quickly found, and in excellent condition. Thankyou.

Two days after The Wanderers last visit I returned with him on our letterboxing circular walk around the area. So I didnt have to search for this one- or the "ammo can" Letterbox. A brilliant cache once again... THANKYOU.

A quick flick up here after meetings at Plymouth University for work. Thankfully the heavy rain had blown over, and i had a good few hours in the area. This was my first point, due manly to the very near by letterbox that's been mentioned. This was a new one for me, but unfortunately I found it wet, so have brought it in to dry out, then I'll resite it in a new box. As for the cache, that's immaculate and perfect. Afterwards I went overlooking Siblyback checking a old clue, wow, there looking at me from under a boulder, was a old ice cream container, 30 years after my last and only visit!!!! The stamp is fine, but the rest was beyond repair, so another that will be sited back in a new box. Amazingly I never throw away any clues, as you never know what gets forgotten!

My last cache of the day, after finding the Stowe's Hill cache and then the nearby Little Quest cache.
There was more than one item that might have matched the hint. I reached under the first one and pulled out an ammo can - but it proved to be a letterbox, and not the cache at all . So I put it back and tried the second hint item, where I found the cache .
As with Stowe's Hill, the cache remains in perfect condition despite being here for 7 years.
Thanks for the cache,
Rgds, Andy

Returned again today but this time with a copy of the 'Spoiler' photograph and that helped me find it very quickly.
Fabulous views today with mostly clear blue sky and the occasional light shower.
Many thanks for placing this cache here.

I searched all the areas that I felt could match the hint but found it not possible to find the cache. All I found was an ammo box whixch turned out to be a 'Letterbox'.
I msut bring the 'Spoiler' photograph with me next time I visit.

Took us quite a while to find this cache. GPS was taking us up higher at first, finally managed to get a more accurate reading and the cache was not far away. Mind you we now know several rocks quite well.

A very foggy day once I reached the parking spot but it was good in one way because it hides the climb up to the tor. I was anticipating a lengthy search but it turned out to be quite a quick find for me. The GPS did initially send me 25ft further uphill but that was probably down to the fog, and with the hint I soon felt the little blighter.
I carried on over to Pipers Quarry Geocache from here, with no visibility at all it was just follow the arrow all the way.
Thanks for the £1 prize, and a good cache from where I know the views are supurb from other caches I have done up here.

I had planned several indoor jobs thinking the weather wouldn't be too good today but seeing the clear blue sky first thing the call of caching was too strong to resist. I headed up Sharp Tor and soon arrived at the area of the cache. Fastened Freddie to a nearby rock and then started my search. Having no success where the GPSr told me to look I widened the search higher up. Then I spotted a horse rider lower down the tor watching me (I thought). No such luck - he was watching a group of hounds heading up towards Freddie! I raced back down, picked Fred up and then climbed back up onto rocks away, I hoped, from their route. Then I spotted a large group of riders and even more hounds, but fortunately they were heading towards Kilmar Tor and persuaded the stray pack to join them.
Somewhat unnerved, I resumed my search, but, sadly, to no avail. After another half an hour I decided to give up and head over to Twelve Men's Moor.
Returned after success at Twelve Men's Moor and spent another, more peaceful, half hour looking, but unsuccessfully. Will just have to return on another day.
