This cache was lying next to its hide, totally destroyed. Logbook stuck together and box broken.

I removed it as rubbish, pointless to stuff under the rock again.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the Cache is in need of tender care and attention. The Box Clips are all absent having broken off so the lid cannot be shut. Consequently the contents are a complete mush. Box replaced upside down so it can't refill with water.

An excellent spot for a cache but it is in desperate need of some TLC. The clips on the box are broken so water has got in and saturated everything. I would have left a new logbook but it won't survive without a new box.

A quick find with excellent coords.  Sorry to say the box clips are broken and the log sodden and unsignable.  a very long time since the last visitor and sadly it shows.  A lovely location for a cache for all that.  TFTC

My last opencache of the day on a long walk out from Scout Hut as far as Red Lake Tip and Broad Falls.  Unfortunately it was a DNF here.  My search may not have been as thorough after eight hours out as it would have been in the morning, but I couldn't spot it.  I note that it's a while since this was found, and that it was in a bad state then.  Gone, perhaps?

With the recent selection of December's Dartmoor 365 Event I decided that I would like to get to Ducks Pool before then. Today is my first attempt. First day off and we have a reasonable forecast so I'm off.

This cache is in a very bad way.

Thanks for the cache

I was passing this as I headed for a Groundspeak FTF.  The co ords were spot on and I found it as detailed in the hint.

Found while on a walk concentrating on caches listed on the mainstream website.

The cache was found after a brief search.

The cache container is damaged and the logbook is very soggy so this really needs a bit of TLC.

The logs on my GPSr included the log by the OC Team making the award of Cache of the month for February 2019 so the cache was rather disappointing.

TFTC.

Called in today on way out to Evil Combe. Fabulous weather cant believe its end of October. cache log book is damp, so signature was more of an engraving than anything else. Thanks for putting this one out.

Approached this not from the Scout Hut but directly from the west.  This was not a good route and I found lots of very boggy bits.  Soon spotted the cache as it had been left exposed with the lid undone Frown  The logbook was very damp indeed and I dried it out as best I could with the kitchen roll I carry and placed it in a new bag, but ideally this needs drying out properly.  Dried out the rest of the contents and rehid the cache much better.  However, 2 of the clips are broken off the box, which could also do with replacing.  TFTC.

I parked on the road to nowhere and walked over to this cache, my first find. Walking a strange route today, heading to Fox tor next and then onto Ryder Hill before heading back to Princetown. I took a path tag thing, the little slip of paper with it said that I was allowed to do that but I,m not sure what to do with it yet. Thank you.

1954 2011-09-21 16:00 recommendation Amberel (user activity611) - Found it

After visiting Knowle Wood this morning, we turned our attention this afternoon to this bit of Dartmoor. It's a fascinating spot.

Mrs. A. has her eye in this afternoon, she quickly spotted the cache while I was looking elsewhere.

Another recommendation. And edited to say that having done the sums, this one is a TOP CACHE, see http://www.amberel.com/topcache.htm

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

**FTF**  I have had this one on my list for ages, walked up from Norsworthy Bridge, collecting caches and letterboxes on the way. An almost dry day with a strong wind on top of the hill. Still a lot going on at Ditsworthy Warren with the filming. TFTC

Easily found with Brentorboxer on 24.8.10, and consequently I have now registered with opencaching to log this cache.  We had a wonderful day caching and boxing from Norseworthy Bridge to Eylesbarrow, and back, on a sunny but windy day!  Many thanks
