Approached this not from the Scout Hut but directly from the west. This was not a good route and I found lots of very boggy bits. Soon spotted the cache as it had been left exposed with the lid undone 
The logbook was very damp indeed and I dried it out as best I could with the kitchen roll I carry and placed it in a new bag, but ideally this needs drying out properly. Dried out the rest of the contents and rehid the cache much better. However, 2 of the clips are broken off the box, which could also do with replacing. TFTC.
