Out and about in this area today to pick up some letterboxes and geocaches.
When I came close to GZ I thought, bugger, I bet they moved it when they've rebuilt this wall up there.

Coming closer to GZ and reading the hint there was only one place. And the cache was safe and well.

All dry and good here. TFTC

This was my last summit of a wonderful winter’s walk across the ‘watery morass’ of the upper Aune and Erme countries, whilst doing a maintenance visit to the Ducks Pool memorial letterbox!

I had it all to myself until I descended to the Western Wellabrook, where ironically, I met the hounds of the Boxing Day hunt overlooking Huntingdon as the sun started to set over the crest of the Whittaburrow Ridge towards the SW. Afterwards I had a chilly Easterly night blast as I made my way back to Lyd Gate in the gathering gloom, ITS ALWAYS GOOD TO BE ON DARTMOOR!

Mr Bb was out on a solo walk of just over 17 miles completed in just under nine-and-a-half hours, in an extended loop from Shipley Bridge.

This cache was only a little way uphill from three traditional caches listed on the mainstream website so a small detour was in order.

The precise co-ordinates and helpful hint led to a surprisingly quick find, almost exactly two years since it was last found.

The cache is in good order. Signed the log and replaced as found.

TFTC.

Cachers can be rather cheeky sometimes and some take delight in hiding a cache under a rock amongst a pile of rocks. I had a look at a few places to no avail and was incredibly grateful for the spoiler photo because I would not have seen that even though the coordinates are excellent. TFTC

Well this cache hasn't been found in a while.  As we were passing today we decided to have a look for it.  While I was searching one spot GoldenHaystack searched another and soon came up with the container.  We signed ourselves in and returned the cache as found.  Cache is in great condition.

Climbed the hill and found the cache... and what a view. Thanks for the view. There didn't look to be much water in behind the dam. How long is this weather going on?
An excellent day caching with Chudleigh Traveller on a hot frazzzzzling day.

It was almost a last minute thought to check to see if there were any Opencaches near my route today - and I found two.  I almost regretted this one as it is a steep climb up from the river, but a hill I had never ventured up before.  In order to get to GZ I managed to walk right over the cairn but eventually got there for an easy find, TFTC.

Found on the last day of a three day walk on the southern part of the moor. I camped at Erme Pits last night &amp; walked to Huntingdon Warren via Red Lake and Broad Falls. <br /> Thanks for a great cache!

After a loop round to the south from Shipley Bridge, and a walk northwards along the route of the railway past Left Lake, I came past Petre's Cross. Then it was steep downhill, across the river, and up the other side to reach here. Despite the two years since the last find, the cache is fine.

Thanks for the cache, and for bringing me to this lovely location.

Rgds, Andy

Started our walk from Lud Gate on a day of thick fog, but fortunatly it cleared by mid-day. Quick find with spot-on co-ords.

A beautiful day to be on the moors, the sun was shinning the Skylarks in full song and the wind a gentle cooling one.Didn't see a soul  until we were well on the way back to the car when we came across a lone camper/walker.  Oh and the cache site had great views and spot on coords made for a quick find.  Thanks for this one,
