No luck for me here today. Had a good look with my friend. Found the other one on site.

I was in the area to pick up a flurry of FTFs which took me past here so I decided to have a stop and look.

I made an early start on what turned out to be an all-day walk on Dartmoor. Starting from Lane End I came back down the road to follow the Lych Way then the permissive footpath all the way to this one. I found the other cache nearby rather easily but it took some searching before this little one was in my hand. TFTC

I originally found this cache in 2011 but never logged it.  I returned today to find the cache again so as to determine the date I originally found it, so that I could log it accurately.  The cache is exactly as shown in the spoiler photo.

Excellant location, beautiful, I wish I lived nearby. Cache a little damp otherwise ok. Been for a swim today up in the Cleave, great. Now back to Lane End where we started todays walk.

Amazingly I found this cache over 7 years ago, but this was only my second ever opencache and I never logged it.  I returned much more recently when I placed my own cache nearby and was determined to find this cache again.  I did and was able to note the date when I originally found it. TFTC and my apologies for a log which is over 7 years late!

Thanks for bringing me to a part of the moor I haven't previously visited. TFTC

A lovely spot down by the river, and another find for factotem.

I wonder why they chose to bridge the river at its widest point? Maybe the ford was there because the widest point was the shallowest point, and the bridge was built where the ford was.

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

Another pretty spot, I must say we have been to some delightful places today. Another well hidden cache, thank you.

Second Opencache of the day.

It's a lovely walk down the old lane to the bridge even if a little wet today. The gate you need to go through has been barracaded off, presumably by the landowner so maybe the permitted access has been taken away now?

The sign is still on the gate so I climbed over anyway and found the cache without any trouble.

T4TC.

FTF, I've walked the path before but never taken the gate by the bridge, what a super spot, always something special when the moss is like it is here.  Thanks very much for getting me out here ands fore the cache.
