This has been on my list for a long time, just waiting until I had a customer visit in London that finished early enough for me to do the cache. I came prepared a couple of months ago, but the weather was freezing cold and pouring with rain so I didn't bother. Today there was a cold breeze, but it was quite pleasant while in the sunshine and a very different proposition to February.

I parked the scooter near the Guildhall and walked round the first four locations. No problems except for St. Clements, where my Oregon was playing silly cachers in the urban canyon and I took much longer than I should have done.

A short ride up to Shoreditch and then I had just one more number to find. Rather oddly, the ride from Shoreditch to Stepney was by far the worst for traffic, it was completely stationary and difficult to get through even on the bike. But once there, it was probably the nicest location.

I'm well known for my general dislike of virtuals, but this one really was the exception to the rule. It's a great cache, the only virtual I've ever rated "excellent" and certainly the only one to which I have allocated a recommendation.

I recall with a lot of fondness completing the original GC version of this cache and then waiting to find the bonus final. It was a great Eureka moment. Having still got the old coords meant it was easy to find the required answer for this version - hope that is OK.:)Shame the original one was archived but I don't suppose it would get many visitors in the current climate. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

I did all the hard work over a year or so while wandering the streets of London - a bit longer than the recommended 6 hours. Seriously though some great locations and interesting information to find. A great cache, get out there and do it!
