A very pleasant walk in the late afternoon sunshine saw me at this cache. The area was deserted today - I didn't see another soul the whole time I was here.

Walked up from Boundary Road, via Sharphill View
Paths a lot more conducive to walking after the recent spell of good weather, last time we came near it was a sea of mud.

Got to the woods, admiring the views in both directions. Followed the paths in the general direction, but knew it wasn't going to be that simple. Struck off on a small track, easing past trunks, brambles and nettles and got to a close area. A few minutes searching from one side to the other, and Mrs JJB was delighted to find the cache.


Brilliant approach views, great woodlands (including free leaflet at entrance to identify the trees), really peaceful but alive with birds, including a very noisy woodpecker
