I started with this cache today as the CO said it was very very easy.......that's my kind of cache .

So it was, and the cache was found dry and clean inside.

I did however liberate two small arachnids, how they got in the box is a mystery to me.

Maintenance check, all OK and in good condition.

Maintenance visit. Cache still in its place and in fine condition, clean and dry. Unfortunately not much in the way of swaps inside, and I had forgotten to bring any with me to top it up.

I was at St Ann's Hill today for the Church micro, and so it was a good opportunity to do the two Opencaches here. This was the first of the two - an easy find, and pleasing to find the cache dry and in a good condition.

Found on a visit to Egham. Our first ever open cache. Will have to look for more around our neck of the woods. Took us quite a while to find this one though, it was back where we had started from but missed it first time around. TFTC

I don't recall taking a proper lunch break except twice to eat in the university restaurant with colleagues since I started my job in March. So I decided to take a lunch break today and dodged the heavy showers to find a few caches. St Anne's Hill boasts a Geocache, a  Navicache, an OpenCache and a TerraCache so I thought it would be fun to find one of each. Unfortunately the Navicache, which should perhaps have been the easiest, given Robin's usually large caches, was the one that eluded me.

Still, the Multi Cache gave me my start position and first clue, then on to find the others. This waas the first actual cache found and though there were plenty of possible places to hide a cache, it was hidden nicely where I found it within about 15 seconds of commencing my search.

Thanks! TFTC, Sandvika #977

This is quite an event for us: our first Opencache. In fact, our first cache which isn't listed on a certain other listing site. Not that we have any problem with that other site - it's just nice to have a choice.

We were at first concerned to see that there's been lots of forestry work very close to the cache but fortunately the cache is safe and well.

Thanks for the cache.

My first Opencache!

I took a trip up to St Anns Hill this evening to hoover up all the unfound caches there (three on three different listing sites) and to re-visit the well that is also hidden on these slopes. I have been visiting St Anns Hill all my life and still get lost, so many paths on so many different levels circling the hill!

Found this one just as the dusk was fading.

Thanks for placing another cache in this interesting area.

Today I decided to go out and find my first non-cross-listed Opencaching cache and I was pleasantly surprised to be the first to sign the log. How nice not to have to race out at the first sign of a new cache being published in order to have a gnat's whisker of a chance of being first to find!

I'm not a competitive cacher, as Amberel will know, but I was really pleased to be brought to this place today (which turned out to be quite a warm Bank Holiday Monday!). I was accompanied by my 'better half' (known as Badger #2 on GC.com) and Jozie the Geodog (who found all manner of sticks to run for Wink) and together we enjoyed the surroundings and even bagged the 2 GC.com caches while here.

Thanks, Andy, for placing this well-stocked cache! I was sorely tempted to take the Top Trumps game for my boys, but having come empty-handed in terms of swaps, I decided to leave them for the next finder.
