Archiving - on a maintenance visit is became clear that all the embrasures are at some time or other used by nesting birds, so the cache location is not suitable. Shame, it was a great place for a cache other than this.

On a maintenance visit we saw a bird's nest in the embrasure in which the original cache was hidden, so have placed a second cache 2 embrasures closer to the moat launch point. The co-ordinates have been updated, but for obvious reasons we have not removed the original cache.

As myself and dizzygirl were with the CO when this was placed we followed on and signed the log however a genuine find it was not so anyone claiming after this date has the right to brag at being first.
We had taken the boats in for a paddle around the moat when amberel had the great idea to place a cache here too. An amazing day and so kind of the CO to take us out here. This was a real giggle of a day from start to finish. TFTC.
