Had my eye on this cache for a while and this hot day seemed just the right excuse to explore and cave and the woods.  Slight doubt on the correct point to leave the road but once a few metres off the road there was a path that took us straight there.  Cache was out in the main body of the cave.  Hidden back down the passage as described.  No bats or spiders spotted.  Cave and woods both good with the children.  Thanks.

Over a year since the last find (although that's not particularly long for an opencache).  I have had my eye on this for a while and I was in the area today doing one of the owner's other underground adventures.  I texted BradLad from the village as a safety back up and made my way to the entrance.  The cache turned out to be easy to find.  It is a bit damp so I just signed an X after  Dylan burgess's log.  It would have been good to explore a bit more but I wasn't keen to on my own and then I realised I'd crawled in in my best waterproof coat.

Thanks for the opencache on a very, very wet day of caching.

Cracking location for a cache. My second open cache.

Intrigued by the location we headed here today and parked at Birdlip, then headed to this cache. Coming from the wrong direction took us a little longer to locate but once at the cave the cache was a nice fun and quick find. Thanks so much for the cache.

Despite frequently driving along the nearby road, I never knew of the existence of this cave.

The family, en masse, entered and soon found the cache.

Thanks for placing it.

We generally use geocaching.com but saw this local one in an area we were wanting to explore so set off to find it. Quick find and we were the first to find! Thanks for setting it.
