My first Open cache, but my 1270+ cache. I have been wanting to make a start on the Open caches in the country for some time now, and as the weather was looking OK, Mrs Spacebat & I set off with the intention of having a walk, finding a few caches, then having lunch at the Castle of Comfort inn, not far away.
A pleasant walk through the woods, but, having arrived at GZ, I was a little uncertain as to whether or not the cache was still in place as there has been some forestry work nearby. No need to worry as the cache was in place, clear of the foresrty work though just visible to a cacher. Contents all dry in their double wrapping - there wasn't even any water in the box.
