From the car park we walked along to the given co-ordinates and started looking for the cache
. After about a minute I decided to read the cache sheet again and realised my mistake which I can only put down to an excess of Christmas cheer!
We gathered the required information, worked out the final co-ordinates and set off down the very muddy, wet track. After what seemed like ages, due to the conditions underfoot, we were at the cache site and set about searching again. Thinking outside the box helped this time and soon the cache was in our hands.
Signed log and then returned by a different track which made a very enjoyable circular walk. Thanks for an excellent cache at a fascinating location.
