These five OpenCaches on the west of Dartmoor were on my list last year, but I didn't get round to doing them. So they were the top priority for my first visit this year.

For the first time I was accompanied on my Dartmoor walks, by factotem, and for the first time I came in my campervan instead of on my scooter. The van was parked at the Bundu site north of Prewley Farm, which was a very convenient base.

We arrived at the Loaf by way of a couple of Groundspeak caches, but it was good to open the OpenCaching account on the trip.

After finding the cache I consumed my "elevenses", a hot cross bun, this being a suitable snack to ensure the owner of the cloven hooves kept his distance Laughing .

This was David's (factotem's) first OpenCache - here he is pictured by the Loaf factotem at Branscombe's Loaf
