We decided we had been sat around for long enough, stuffing our faces with cake and choccies, so decided we needed a walk, which could then be topped off with standing around scoffing cake and choccies. Perfect!:D:D :D

So, after conferring with Hal-an-tow, we worked out what the new Covid regulations were to make sure we were compliant and met up for a cold walk across muddy fields. Once again we were very lucky with the weather and the clouds cleared to show lovely blue sky. April the geohound was extremely happy to be off the lead, running circles around us at Mach 2, strafing us with mud splatters as she raced by.

Hal-an-tow had brought along a swirly frisbee type throw thing for April, but despite many attempts, we only got some interest from April before the interesting sniffs called her away again. At one point we did have to retrieve it from down a steep sided river/ditch when it took a rather erratic flight path. This was only achieved by Naslan using my crutch as a pokey retrieval stick and me holding onto him so he did not fall in.....! :D

On route to the cache, we spotted a Kestrel, but no Hares. I clocked the type of hint we needed, but had not read some of the main caching page notes, so initially looked in the wrong place, before realising it was actually very well hidden, but in full view as it's currently winter:DA very careful retrieval gave us a dry cache log which was quickly signed and replaced.

Thanks Hal-an-tow for the cache and the walk :D
