To reach Higher Tor from Winter Tor you need to cross the main track from Oke Tor and head north-east along a very easy path which gradually climbs up to the tor. There are only two more tors to visit after this one as this is the 12th tor of 14.
The weather on Dartmoor can change suddenly and unexpectedly and ALL types of weather conditions can be experienced. Please ensure that you have the correct clothing and map & compass (and know how to use them). Please do NOT rely solely on your GPS.
