After a sumptuous early breakfast I disembarked the cruise ship at Cape Town and declined to book the offered guided tour having researched earlier and elected for independent travel. I discovered that Cache n Walk had got the same idea and so we decided to travel together. We had a lot of fun but the edge of an electric storm did cause some interference with our navigation aids (android moto-g's and an iphone) at one point, but we achieved all we wanted before discovering we had the same idea of catching an early lunchtime time flight to Tanzania. It was a bit of a bumpy ride as the storm was moving North with us. It was quite local as at times the conditions were perfect and others it was quite tricky. More trekking and interesting places found. We just had time for a short trip in a tourist plane (it was very bright and shiny, like me they must use Chrome I think), to visit a few more spots before sundown and our overnight camp.
Up and about early the next morning for a another couple of trips before finally a visit to the casino where we hit the jackpot which paid for the trip including our flight back to London.

Back home and having navigated the M25 there is time to reflect. In real life I guess I am in the minority because I am quite happy to walk miles for a good multi. Once you strip out the research it is an excellent multi and yes we did walk miles. It was such good fun though that they seemed like yards as there was always some entertainment on offer.
As I have said before it is a shame that there is no-one else who cares enough to create 'top caches', a favourite point seems quite inadequate but it is the best I can do.
Is it just possible there is something else lurking in this brilliant cache owner's mind??? We will all have to wait and see I think
