All in good condition here, as it always is - seems when people have spent so long to reach the final they are prepared to spend a little longer to make sure the cache is left in good condition :-)

Aha.  One I should log really.  Will now start to look into cross listings.  A brilliant cache as you know I have said.

Cache made in two days with Quenrelia.
The first one, was few weeks ago, during a very sunny day, making us feel like in Africa :)
We almost completed the puzzle, but as it was late, we left five steps.
Going after the Lion, the Zebra and the Giraffe was fun particularly fun. We must have looked very funny from the muggle point of view.

The second day was this Sunday, and we manage to complet the puzzle, then we went to the final coordinate were we found the cache quickly.

On the technical side, we tried to use chrome on android, it was not working, so we used the default android browser. I used a Windows phone which worked perfectly.

It was two great days spent visiting the great park and Africa in the same time. Definitely deserves a FP.

After a sumptuous early breakfast I disembarked the cruise ship at Cape Town and declined to book the offered guided tour having researched earlier and elected for independent travel. I discovered that Cache n Walk had got the same idea and so we decided to travel together. We had a lot of fun but the edge of an electric storm did cause some interference with our navigation aids (android moto-g's and an iphone) at one point, but we achieved all we wanted before discovering we had the same idea of catching an early lunchtime time flight to Tanzania. It was a bit of a bumpy ride as the storm was moving North with us. It was quite local as at times the conditions were perfect and others it was quite tricky. More trekking and interesting places found. We just had time for a short trip in a tourist plane (it was very bright and shiny, like me they must use Chrome I think), to visit a few more spots before sundown and our overnight camp.

Up and about early the next morning for a another couple of trips before finally a visit to the casino where we hit the jackpot which paid for the trip including our flight back to London.

---o---
Back home and having navigated the M25 there is time to reflect. In real life I guess I am in the minority because I am quite happy to walk miles for a good multi. Once you strip out the research it is an excellent multi and yes we did walk miles. It was such good fun though that they seemed like yards as there was always some entertainment on offer.

As I have said before it is a shame that there is no-one else who cares enough to create 'top caches', a favourite point seems quite inadequate but it is the best I can do.

Is it just possible there is something else lurking in this brilliant cache owner's mind??? We will all have to wait and see I think .

Finally got my passport in order for this today, and what a glorious day it was too. Blue skies, sunshine, but very pleasantly cool - ideal conditions for this grand tour of the continent
Left home just before 5AM as VHF1 and my sister were going abroad too (France & Belgium), so after grabbing a solved puzzle en route (MUCH easier to grab an urban cache at 5AM ), they were despatched to the train, and I opted for the yacht to the Ivory Coast and arrived shortly after 8AM.
Having completed the Glamr series on Thursday night, Amberel's Virginia Water on Sunday, I'd opted for making small circuits from each of the ports, so my travel itinerary had been carefully planned, and it all (for once ) worked out as per the plan !
The only thing I hadn't factored in was half-term - and boy did it get busier as the day went on ! I only mention this because it means that getting a parking space becomes a challenge, for the actual location visits, it didn't present a problem.
With a couple of the Safari tasks, I had (fond) memories of KAR, but no such antics were required with these majestic animals
The visit to the Bwindi National Park did make me smile, you'll see what I mean when you do it.
On a few occasions, I found myself quite a lot closer to the deer than I'd intended - they blend in VERY well, but had no problems and once I realised, I gave them a respectful distance, after all, I'm a guest in their home, not the other way around.
Using both the yacht and the jet, I completed the tour in between six and seven hours which included a fairly long walk to/from the cache itself - it was just too nice a day not to walk that last leg, and the walking was done at an unhurried pace. This was a cache I'd set the day aside for and was more than happy to spend the time appreciating it.
Technically, I had no issues at all using an iPhone 6 on EE contract using the Safari (how apt !) browser.
Picking up a comment someone else made about using the 4S, I'd taken a "booster" with me, but didn't use it - when moving between locations I plugged the iPhone into a car charger, but it didn't have much time to charge - overall, I probably used 40% from fully charged.
A really great day out, a beautifully engineered "experience" (it's not JUST a cache ), thoroughly recommended - give it the time it deserves, and you will reap the reward.
Thank-you very, very much Amberel, I've had a really great day, and it's a memorable experience for sure

I generally don't cross list my opencaches on Groundspeak, but this one is listed there - GC48691

I'm mentioning this in case it affects your trip, and if you do come to do it the logs on GC may help you plan.

Cotswold Caching and CacheWalker are taking a second caching trip to Central London on 7th Feb, but this one looks to be bit too far out for that day. It looks a lot of work has gone into this cache and I would like to have a go at it, and so have highlighted it to the others on our forum and hope to make it the centre piece of our third trip out of our area later in the year.
